the BRAND
I’m MacKenzey. Founder. Lead Designer. Creative.
Before launching fleur, I was a college senior searching for purpose —just two semesters away from a teaching degree I knew wasn’t for me.
Somewhere between mediocre student-teaching assignments and unbearable lesson planning, I found the courage to rewrite my own story.
Three weeks into my senior year, I walked away.
I took a job at a local flower shop and almost instantly knew I had found my place. The rhythm, the creativity, the fulfillment—it fit. But I wanted to shape it into something entirely my own.
In the summer of 2023, I took the leap and founded this studio to offer a modern take on traditional event floristry.
My approach is simple: I get to know my couples, then design a day that feels unapologetically them.
My private studio is located in Goshen, Connecticut, where I live with my husband and our two fur babies. I’m a UConn alum with a degree in American Studies (and bartending, wink wink). Design, thrifting, and Harry Potter have my heart.
